Well, this year's CHW was amazing! So much cool stuff happened, twas great fun and craic with the Youth & Childrens Team, my Small Group was awesome, as was leading a group with Chris Neilands, and Prayer Ministry was a huge blessing as always! Highlights include, but are not limited to:
-Chatting German to the German Theatre guy Matthias
-Leading my Small Group with Chris Neilands, it was a laugh, but I think we did some good together, twas nice having someone to share that with too
-Getting prayed for by Tom Wilson first on the Wednesday, then again with his wife Louise on Friday, such a blessing, thanks you guys
-The first time my phone started working again after it had stopped working, that was so much fun, but alas it's not working anymore
-Meal times with lots of different people out of Team, twas always a great laugh
-Our last Small Group meeting on Friday night, praying together round the lake in beautiful scenery
-When one of the group said thanks cos this was the first time he'd experienced something like he'd experienced that week
-When one of the lads gave me a box of maltesers to say thanks
-Football on Friday, I scored one, got a bunch of the lads to continually shout "Chris" just to distract my brother while he was playing, Ryan throwing the ball straight into Steve's head, fun all round
-The Wednesday night when Brian Heasley spoke up at the main marquee, such an inspiration
-Doing Prayer Ministry on Thursday and Friday night
-At the start of worship, when a guy came to get prayer cos he was feeling sick, we prayed for him and when we asked how he felt after we'd finished praying, he felt fine! Amazing, that blew my mind
-Getting to anoint people on Friday night too, tis crazy that God wants to use me, ME, for stuff like that
-Being reminded that no matter what stupid stuff I've done in the past, God does really like me and wants to use me for some amazing stuff!
